In 1981, I immigrated to Canada as an eager entrepreneur. With a young family to support and a drive to succeed, I started out by selling goods at local flea markets. This venture proved successful and ultimately afforded me the opportunity to design, manufacture and distribute products to thousands of retail stores in the United States and Canada.
These professional successes lead me to Giftcraft; and in 2002 I accepted the position of CEO. Since joining the company, and eventually becoming its principal owner, Giftcraft has become an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of lifestyle and giftware products servicing retailers throughout the world; an achievement for which I am extremely proud and one that has recently earned Giftcraft the prestigious distinction of being named one of "Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies".
Early on in my career, I made a promise to myself that when successful I would do my best to support others who share the same type of entrepreneurial spirit and sense of adventure. This is what has led me to a new and exciting business venture and the founding of Simply You.
